And the US might be ranked low in healthcare, but you can still expect an infrastructure to pull you out of a wrecked car, deliver you to a hospital, and treat you without delay. Where does all the countries rank on emergency response? How about infection control? How about skilled work force? What about supplies, and eguipment?
I want a healthcare fantasy land too, but the fact is that we don’t have the infrastructure to support a better healthcare system. Simply flooding the market with 40,000,000 patients and money will not equate to better healthcare.

There has been problems with waiting time for operations in the past but they are being dealt with and are coming down. No system is perfect, there is rationing of care in the US too. It’s just wrapped up differently.
It takes 2 minutes on google to find about 14%, about 46 MILLION do not have insurance. So it’s true, most Americans do have it, but it’s a poor result for the supposedly riches country in the world.
If you loose your job, you may well lose your insurance, and if you aint got a job, you can’t afford insurance.
