Everyone hates dry skin and it also brings a lot of problems in day to day life. Not only does it makes you look less attractive, but also gives you a lot of physical discomfort. An effective dry skin therapy is what you need to permanently solve the problem of dry itchy skin.

Generally, when people look for a cure for their skin dryness, they resort to dry skin remedies in the form of home treatments. The ingredients that they use for treating dry skin are not scientifically proven nor are they processed in the best possible manner to give the desired effects. Thus, the results on dry skin care vary a lot and are much below expectations.

In many cases, the results are in fact the opposite. Skin dryness worsens and many other skin problems crop up. So, my suggestion would be that unless you are an expert in the field of medicinal herbs and home based dry skin remedies, you should not be experimenting with your skin.

In many cases, the problems of dry skin have got so much out of control that even the best dry skin therapies available in the market could not bring the skin back to normal. That generally happens when dry skin takes more serious form of eczema and psoriasis.

An effective dry skin therapy would be to use such products that contain scientifically proven natural ingredients that work specifically for curing dry skin. In the past it was acceptable to use home based dry skin remedies because there was no other alternative, but thanks to modern medical innovations, such effective products have now been developed.

Some natural ingredients that work very effectively not only in curing skin dryness permanently but also in anti aging and skin rejuvenation are Cynergy TK and Phytessence Wakame. You should look out for these in the best dry skin therapy.

Cynergy TK is a cutting edge natural ingredient pioneered in New Zealand. It has been called next to a “miracle ingredient” for its role in anti aging and skin rejuvenation. It enhances the natural production of vital youth giving skin proteins called collagen and elastin.

These skin proteins play a key role in giving our skin firmness, smoothness, suppleness and pliancy. As we age, their production in our body slows down, that’s the reason why we face the problems like wrinkles, fine lines, dryness, saggy skin and age spots.

Cynergy TK helps in regrowth of new skin cells. It improves the skin’s moisture retention and elasticity. It is rich in functional keratin – which is similar to the keratin protein found in our body that plays a key role in skin health.

Clinical trials on human volunteers showed an improvement of 18% in skin moisture retention and 42% in skin elasticity in a period of 18 days. New cells proliferation enhanced up to 160%!

Phytessence Wakame is an extract of a special type of Japanese sea kelp. It is known world over for its amazing role in making the skin velvety soft and smooth. It is rich in vital antioxidants, minerals, vitamins and calcium (its calcium content is 15 times greater than milk).

It keeps the skin young and radiant by its unique role of inhibiting the activity of the dreaded enzyme hyaluronidase. This enzyme destroys the vital hyaluronic acid in our body, which is very important as it acts as “glue” to bind the collagen and elastin fibers in our skin together.

Phytessence Wakame is one of the best kept Japanese skin care beauty secrets. It is used in dry skin therapy not only to cure dry skin, but also to give back the life and natural glow to the skin. It is an amazing skin rejuvenator.

Six Home Remedies to Remove Acne Scars by: Naweko San-Joyz

Acne Scar Remedy 1: Lemons

If your acne scars dark, you can use lemon juice to lighten them. Cleanse your face with lemon juice. Dab one teaspoon of lemon juice into a cotton ball and smooth it over the acne marks. Leave for ten minutes, then rinse. Use caution with lemon juice because it can make your skin photosensitive. So be certain to use a sunscreen on any area you treat with lemon juice prior to going out into the sun.

Acne Scar Remedy 2: Soda

Exfoliate your skin with baking soda. Often times a version of baking soda is used in cosmetic microdermabrasion treatments. You can give yourself a mini microdermabrasion treatment by mixing one teaspoon of baking soda with the two teaspoons of filtered water. Then gently rub the mixture on your acne scar for sixty seconds then rinse it off.

Acne Scar Remedy 3: Olives

After exfoliating your skin with baking soda, massage a pea-sized amount of olive oil onto your face. Acne scaring can cause the skin to lose its elasticity and suppleness. The moisturizing nutrients in the olive oil will penetrate the skin to deeply moisturize the skin and soften the skin’s texture.

Acne Scar Remedy 4: Fruits

In addition to eating fresh fruits to supply your skin with collagen building vitamin C, you can also smear them onto your face for gentle acid exfoliation. Just puree a forth a cup of pineapple and smooth it onto your face. Leave it for 10-15 minutes, then rinse. Since the pineapples contains ascorbic acid, it will impart a brightening effect on the face, and help fade acne marks.

Acne Scar Remedy 5: Water

It cannot be said enough. “Your skin needs water.” Especially when you want to promote the type of skin repair needed to heal acne scarring. Your skin needs water to keep the skin plump, to remove toxins, and the build new skin cells. Drink at least 80 ounces of filtered water a day to give your skin the quality and quantity of water it needs to reveal healthier, fresher skin.

Acne Scar Remedy 6: Consistency

The ultimate ingredient needed to completely remove acne scars is consistency. Acne scars form over a series of weeks, layer by layer. To remove the acne scarring, you need to use your acne home remedy on a daily basis to remove the damaged scar tissue layer by layer.

To be successful at fading and healing your acne scars at home, you just need to plan in advance. Devote time to removing the damaged skin and giving yourself the nutrients you need to build healthier skin. For example, you can decide to spend five minutes a day exfoliating your skin with baking soda or pineapple and another ten minutes enjoying collagen building foods like soy, grapes or oranges. Do it consistently and you will see and improvement in your scars.

Fresh flowers can brighten your home. If you have your own flower garden, you have a sure way to bring your rooms to life. Even if you don’t have your own garden, there are flowers and plants that you can find in their natural habitat.

Here are some things to think about when decorating your home with flowers:

1. Pick a vase or container that matches your table shape. Whatever the flower arrangement, it will look more harmonious if you match a round vase to a round table, square to square or oval to oval.

2. Add to the beauty of your cut flower arrangements by using branches from a blooming azalea shrub, dried twigs, bamboo or reeds. If you use bamboo or reeds (or other similar plants with hollow stems), be sure you cut a notch in the upper part of each joint that will be under water so that the stem becomes filled. The flowers of shrubs, such as azaleas, should have the stems slit or the bark peeled up so that it will expose as large a surface as possible of woody fiber to soak up the water. Leave the cut parts on the plant so that it looks like ribbons. This will absorb the most water and make the flowers last longer.

3. When using flowers such as poppy or hollyhock, cut the stems and put the blooms into water immediately. If you wait, they produce a milky sap that will dry and seal up the end of the stalk so that it can’t absorb the water. Using warm (not hot) water will help even more. Don’t forget to wash your hands after handling sappy stems; the sap can cause skin rashes.

4. Don’t over-crowd your flowers. Leave room around the stems so that each flower can get the moisture it needs.

Container Tips:

1. As a rule, you should choose containers with little or no pattern. Patterns in the container will take the focus away from your beautiful flowers.

2. Be careful with trumpet shaped vases. They are not a good choice because they are prone to tipping, especially when used with heavier flowers.

3. Heavy-headed flowers, such as peonies or irises, do well in pewter mugs or beer steins. The mugs are heavier and, again, prevent tipping.

4. Use small glass bowls for smaller flowers such as violets. They are also good for flowers and buds that have been broken off their stems.

Use freshly cut flowers to give your rooms a quick “makeover.” Even if you don’t have your own flower garden, you can get flowers from your local supermarket. Flowers can make the dreariest rooms sparkle.
